WHO IS David HOROWITZ?

Named to Adweek's Creative 100, David is from New Jersey, so you probably went to college with him. As head writer and CD for MTV’s On-Air Promos department, he wrote 100s of spots, many of which he directed. He then moved into commercials, directing spots in the US and France for clients like VW, Ikea, Bud Light, ESPN, ATT, and Nintendo. David joined Mekanism in 2009, helping build (not, um, physically) the NY office while writing and directing for clients such as Boost Mobile, HBO, and Pepsi. As a CD then ECD, David lead accounts including HBO, Ben & Jerry's, Jose Cuervo, and OKCupid. He also lead the team that created Joe Biden’s 2020 Presidential campaign viz ID, as well as many new business initiatives. His mother is proud that he’s won awards she’s actually heard of like Clios, Cannes Lions, and an Emmy. She is significantly less proud of the others like One Show, AICP, Promax, and Epica. David lives in New York City because that's where his kids and all of his stuff are.
